Dr. Annette Turenne is an Artist as well as Physician. She has always loved the human body and study of the face. Along with her training as an artist, she graduated from the University of Alberta in 1988. During Med School, she continued to draw and took extra courses in Plastic Surgery. After graduation, she studied more Plastic Surgery and a year of Obstetrics and Gynecology to further enhance her surgical skills.
Effects of illness and stress on the skin and body became a curiosity that led to a career in cosmetic skin health. It all started as early as 1995 when she took her first post graduate training on diagnosis and management of varicose veins for healthy legs and prevention of skin ulcers. Followed with training of chemical peels and cosmeceuticals, Botox, fillers, and laser. Her passion became a reality when she opened her first cosmetic practice in 2005. Even as her silver years are in view, she still believes that face lifts can become obsolete with early intervention.
